Adelante Youth Mission 2021 - Misión Joven Dominicana
Because of the pandemic the U.S. missionaries were not able to travel to the DR in March of 2021 as we have done every year. But we still had raised funds all year so we spoke with our brothers and sisters in the Dominican Republic about building the homes. We sent them the money and over the course of a couple of months they were able to complete 8 new homes! Ya Hoo!!! Father Joachim and Tom Doyle did finally travel down to meet with the DR missionaries, tour the new homes and spend time with the grateful families.
Below are the photos that our dear Enel provided and we gave these framed photos to the generous sponsors later that year. Enel is the Director of our sister organization in the DR, Misión Joven Dominicana, and he is invaluable to us! Muchas Gracias to the DR missionaries and all of our faithful sponsors and donors each year!!
