Our education team currently visits elementary schools and distributes many donated school supplies. Our teachers and volunteers provide classroom support to local teachers and teacher training regarding new techniques in education.
In 2022 we began providing scholarships to 27 Dominican students attending local universities, through student sponsors. The students are studying in various disciplines including nursing, business, teaching, medicine, and hotel administration. We now support 42 scholarships each year.
The students are studying in various disciplines including nursing, business, teaching, medicine, and the tourism industry. These students give back by helping annually during the mission each March.
We are proud to say that we have built 4 schools and remodeled 5 so they were safe and filled with learning supplies.
